Can’t Exercise – Try This..

 

Everyone knows that exercise is an important part of losing weight, but why is it that so many people who want to lose weight, don’t?

Perhaps it’s to do with money. Going to the gym usually means paying a membership, but if you are on a tight budget this can be a problem

Maybe you have the money, but tried it before and ended up paying the gym tons of money and hardly ever went. Maybe seeing fit, athletic, perfect shaped people left you feeling inadequate, self conscious, fat and out of place.

In other cases it has to do with time. If you have a full-time job, kids to take care of, and a house hold to run, you want to be able to just kick back and relax in what little time you have.

The thing is, you don’t have to go to the gym or cgo running every day. There are ways to be more active without being involved in a formal regimen of exercise.

For example:

If you have a job, you get a lunch break. Go to the nearest park, and eat your lunch there.

When you go to the shop, you probably drive, park your car at the far end of the car park. This means you will have to walk a little more. Every step does you good.

If you catch the bus, get off several stops early and walk the rest of the way.

Avoid elevators. Take the stairs instead.

These are all small things, but they all add up, burning calories, increasing muscle, and boosting your stamina and energy.

The Gold Coast is a beautiful place with plenty of local attractions. Go somewhere this weekend!

Go to the beach. There are some lovely places to walk along Nobbys, Miami, or Burleigh, or if you would like a something a little quieter head up to Runaway Bay.

Try Mount Tamborine or Springbrook. Start with the easy walks first and work your way up to the longer ones. These places are not only great for your body but, like hypnosis, are great for your mind. Being in nature will lift your mood and help with depression and anxiety and is the perfect place for quiet reflection and to re-focus.

It is not uncommon for me to incorporate these places in my hypnotherapy sessions. These places are generally calming and peaceful and can help you relax deeper into your hypnosis experience.
